Our Adoption Timeline!

December 15, 2009: Court date scheduled!!

October 30, 2009: Accepted referral of baby Israel

October 28, 2009: REFERRAL! Sweet baby boy Israel 2 1/2 months old and so tiny!

June 09, 2009: Received an email from WACAP that 5 babies were matched with families in 1 week, we are moving up the list!

May 21, 2009: Our dossier was mailed to Ethiopia. It will sit until we are matched with a baby!

April 24, 2009: 2nd meeting with WACAP program coordinator. We are officially on the 'WAIT LIST'

April 23, 2009: Fingerprint approvals arrive

April 9, 2009: Fingerprints completed at USCIS in Durham, NC

April 7, 2009: Received verified documents for dossier from Sec. of State!

March 30, 2009: Mailed all dossier paperwork off to Sec. of State for verification.

March 13, 2009: Received 1-600 appointment for fingerprints, appt. date is 06 Apr 09.

February 23, 2009: First meeting with WACAP ET program coordinator, we are in the 'program'

February 2, 2009: Homestudy was approved by WACAP!

January 22-25, 2009: Homestudy visits with Nathanson Adoption Services (THEY WERE GREAT!)

January 15, 2009: Application was accepted by WACAP! We told our family/friends we were adopting!

January 12, 2009: Submitted our application to WACAP to adopt an infant (0-12 months) from Ethiopia!
